I was always told a gentleman should steer away from vile subjects such as politics. Lucky I am no gentleman.

We didn’t know. He looked like such a nice young man with ideals and all. What? Oh, you say he was killing his people even then? Oh, sorry, we must have skipped that page in the report

You cant sell news stories that have data and cautious predictions. Where is the panic? Where is the impending doom? C'mon people , give me something to work with here…

..and as I was a yuppy marketing and advertising executive for the better part
of a decade, I am not really impressed with stories of selling your soul to the devil...

Totalitarians, tyrants and other close friends.

What separates a freedom fighter who took over a country from the old corrupt regime and an oppressive ex-general who is a threat to world stability and a danger to his people and should be shot like a dog? The amount of cooperation they have with the government of the good old you ass of America.

There are very few tyrants who have been "overthrown" in a great public display of liberty freedom and the liberation of the people that was not put there by the Usa government not so long ago, sometimes with tactical and financial support, sometimes with political agendas and sometimes with simple political assassinations and the 'invisible hand' that makes opponents disappear.

We didn’t know. He looked like such a nice young man with ideals and all. What? Oh, you say he was killing his people even then? Oh, sorry, we must have skipped that page in the report, because we were really just trying to help. And how dare you say such a thing? Are you against freedom? Are you against democracy? We saved that country! Like we always do! What? Oh, the last one was building infrastructure and promoting education as a remedy for poverty and violence? Are you sure?…ahm…well we..eh…liberty! freedom! You are unpatriotic!

Every time I hear an American politician talk about their foreign affairs I feel sick to the bottom of my soul, and I stop myself from throwing up by repeatedly banging my head against the wall for a couple of minutes. The delusional behavior cannot be just a mask they put in order to sell their agenda, they actually believe what they are saying and doing. And they always seem so shocked when the violent rebel who slaughtered his enemies (and sometimes colleagues) became a violent tyrant that slaughters his enemies (and sometimes colleagues).

In the end of the day it is all about money of course, the interests of corporations and "free trade". Whether it is cocaine, heroin, opium, oil or just your run of the mill weapons and ammunition, America has "helped" change regimes depending on their will to do business with the world's policeman. Ok, it is not business with the world policemen, it is business with the world's policeman older brother, so that doesn’t count and I don’t care for these kind of accusations and allegations. You are unpatriotic that is what you are.

Americas involvement and its relationships with the countries it puts new heads of state in, both officially and unofficially behind the scenes always remind me of the definition I once heard of what is a boxing match – two blacks put in the ring for the white people to bet on. America has two ways of playing that board game we call our life, first by replacing one tyrant with another and second by supporting both sides under the table, just to make sure this is a win win situation. For America that is. Nobody else ever gets to win.

So next time you hear about the you ass of America "liberating" a country, run and invest in American stocks. Look for anything with Rumsfeld or the bushes in the board of directors for the best effect. The Chenies are always welcome to join too but he doesn’t even bother to sit on boards anymore, it doesn’t matter where he sits, the blood money pours in.

All I know is that if I will ever see someone coming to "liberate" me? I shoot first and ask questions later.
