POLITICS

Don’t you just love
The political game
Of the neverending market
That is always the same?

Don’t you just love
Seeing the faces
of flat smug smiles
no human traces
on posters of enormous size?
Someone quick
Give me a rusty spoon
To take out my poor eyes.

Don’t you just love
Manipulation of photo ops
empty promises of better crops
parade charades with hired cops
it's really an art you see
little known to you and me
the mind games that we
have to endure
as they make it their goal
to deny us
the cure.

Don’t you just love
That  the crowds follow them
Without asking or just
Without thinking we must
Be insane.
Doesn’t even makes
Sense to complain
We are sold we are bought
With not even one thought
To save us from lies
Of this silly campaign.

Don’t you just love
How ideas are distorted
Like a circus freak show
And our mind is contorted
As we let us all go.
They don’t want you to know
That the real price you pay
Is not the disasters they
Will bring you each day
But the hole that is left
When you give up YOUR way.
We are sold we are bought
Once again without thought
The game it is lost
Before it began
This one wins this one lose
Its the same to a man
Who just wants to do right
Work at day, sleep at night
Maybe have a nice place
With a wife and some kids
Just a number , no ace,
Normal person ,normal needs.

Don’t you just love
Knowing right from the start
There's not really a point
To take it to heart
It matters not who wins who lose
It matters not who sits on top
It was always like this
And will
Never
Stop.
If you put them in power
Make a big of the small
From the ivory tower
You see nothing at all
So maybe by now
It is time it will fall
As the slogans
will finally
change
To the truth of the call.
